A high-profile enterprise organisation is going through an exciting period of growth and transformation and are now looking to employ a Technical Lead to support a new infrastructure modernisation program.

You will join a company that is customer and outcomes focused, and currently investing heavily in improving and uplifting their technology environments through major refresh and modernisation programs.

As the Technical Lead you will lead the technical delivery of the Network Infrastructure on a major data center modernisation program and contribute to the migration of the infrastructure common services to its new target infrastructure. The role will see you facilitate and coordinate work across a team of engineers, whilst also supporting the implementation of the new technology in conjunction with the system integrator.

This data centre refresh will be utilising Cisco technologies (Cisco ACI, UCS, FTD), VMWare and F5 Loadbalancer.

To be successful in this role, we're looking for a strong blend of the following skills / experience:
  • Previous experience in a Senior Network Engineer or Lead Network Engineer / Technical Lead role on a migration or modernisation project using Cisco technologies.
  • Experience in project delivery and understanding of project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience in the planning, designing and migration of application onto a new infrastructure platform.
  • Understanding of networks and Cisco ACI technologies
  • Experience in administering vCenter and other VMware ecosystem products
  • Exposure to working with Terraform / Azure DevOps (Infrastructure as Code) is highly desirable.
