A high-profile enterprise organisation is undertaking numerous projects around migrating their key enterprise applications into the cloud, and now require an experienced SAP OpenText Consultant to support these new initiatives.

You will join a project team that are responsible for the OpenText target system architecture, detailed design, assurance, implementation and delivery, ensuring the project requirements, deliverables and schedule are met.

You'll work within the ERP Solution migration delivery team and will be responsible for maintaining the OpenText integration into the SAP systems.

We're looking to engage a consultant on a 6 month contract to start who will be responsible for:
  • Providing architecture, design, delivery and re-hosting leadership and guidance to the Platform As A Service partner for a large OpenText solution from on-premise infrastructure to the public cloud.
  • Review high level and detailed OpenText platform design documents, deployment plans and technical run-sheets from the PAAS partner and provide feedback and guidance when gaps are identified.
  • Architecting, designing, and implementing highly available and disaster tolerant OpenText platforms in the public cloud.

To be successful in this role, we're looking for a strong blend of the following skills / experience:
  • 6+ years’ OpenText software experience in a customer-facing consulting role within an SAP environment.
  • Deployment and quality assurance experience for migrating OpenText to the Public Cloud.
  • Demonstrable experience in migrating and modernizing OpenText applications to virtualized or platforms, covering both technical aspects (applications and databases) and mitigating impact to business users and operations.
  • Familiarity with configuration and management of web/application servers.
  • Hands on experience with OpenText Implementations, Upgrades and Migrations to public cloud HyperScaler’s.
  • Experience with identifying and integrating OpenText add-on requirements for SAP Systems.
  • Experience serving as an OpenText team lead, technical lead and/or delivery lead desirable.
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows operating system and SQL database installation desirable.
