A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Business Risk Management to support their Consumer Finance & Digital business. This role is vital in identifying, assessing, and managing risks, particularly within the Personal Loans business.

Key Responsibilities:
Risk and Control Management: Manage the Value Chain Risk Profile, conduct Risk Reviews, and provide advisory support. This includes CSA testing, enhancing existing controls, and implementing new ones where needed.

Risk Appetite Management: Develop and monitor “Return to Medium” plans for Out of Appetite risks.

Emerging Risks: Identify and manage emerging risks relevant to Consumer Finance.

Compliance Attestations: Support compliance attestations, including Tax, Basel III, and SOx.

Proactive Reviews: Conduct proactive risk reviews and manage Group Risk & Compliance projects.

Control Assurance: Oversee quality assurance and monitoring of controls within Consumer Finance.

Framework Assessments: Contribute to the Risk Management Framework Maturity Assessment (RMFA) and Risk Culture Assessment.

Program Oversight: Oversee the Key Indicators (KI) and Risk and Data Analysis (RAD) Program.

Ideal Candidate:
Extensive experience in risk management within the financial services sector, with a focus on Consumer Banking or idealy Comnsumer Finance, ideally personal loans or credit cards.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive approach to managing risk.
