Title: Digital Marketing Officer
Rate: $500 + super per day
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: December 2024 - (possibility of extension)
WFH: 3 days home - 2 days Office (Tuesday & Wednesday)
Location: Sydney, 2000

One of Sydney's top 5 Universities are looking for a Digital Marketing Officer  to join their team on a 3 Month contract, with possibility for an extension.

About the role
Seeking a digital marketing specialist to help support ongoing work to uplift the Universities website experience—both for high-priority website visitors and authors. We need a person who can work through tasks methodically and efficiently, but also someone who can critically analyse how content is organised and presented on a web page.
 
A successful hire would:
  • Have hands-on experience helping to manage large, complex websites using content management systems, with a strong preference given to those with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience
  • Have experience migrating large amounts of content to new visual website layouts
  • Have experience using digital analytics platforms to make data-led decisions, with a strong preference given to those with Adobe Analytics experience
  • Have excellent attention to detail and written communication skills
  • Excel at working autonomously with minimal guidance
  • Be confident in recommending more efficient or best practice ways to complete tasks
BAU responsibilities
  • Tagging support –
Applying tags from the new taxonomy to existing DAM assets from Faculty Marketing
Moving existing images out of Faculty folders into the new descriptive folders
  • Lift and shifts – migrate existing pages from certain local sites to new templates. For example: Centre for English Teaching, Careers Centre, Scholarships, and Institute of Agriculture.
  • Student News x. Helps & Resources Hub – support the initiative to establish the Resource Hub within Study. This may include identifying content to be migrated, proposing audience-based categorisations, and migrating said stories to the new hub.
  • Website reporting – pulling data and building charts for monthly website reports. Andrew to review, identify trends, and draft the final report.
 
Other potential responsibilities 
  • HDR Hub – support Research Marcomms with establishing the new HDR Hub. This may include reviewing draft IAs, etc.
  • Faculty and UME – review draft migrations to new WUP templates as they’re prepared by Marcomms peers
  • Enablement – develop ‘marketing playbooks’ that allow Marcomms peers to identify ways in which the CWS can support strategic campaigns
Experience & Skills
  • Higher Education or Public sector Experience
  • Experience using content management systems. Experience using Adobe Experience Manager (desirable)
  • Strong experience in marketing technology platforms, e.g. Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics, CDPs, etc
  • Writing high quality communications tailored for different audiences.
