We have an exciting Internal Audit Manager - 10 - 11 months CONTRACT vacancy available within a household Financial Services group. This is due to an internal transfer and we are seeking support in either pure Internal Audit  OR Internal Audit with some IT Audit skills (depending on the candidates experience). Experience gained in using Data Analytics as part of your audit process is adavantageoues, but not essential.

You will be part of an impessive, young and forward thinking audit team that operates across both Sydney and Meblourne, however this position is based in Sydney.
This position will require extensive stakeholder engagement, strict time management, critical thinking skills, the ability to extract and obtain data from various legacy systems, as well as a keen eye for spotting key risks within the business and its operations. If you are a forward thinker and a team player.
We will consider both a FULL TIME and PART - TIME auditor (3 days per week).

Duties:

Preparation, planning of audits with some executing and testing of designated Audits alongside your team
Report on and review of audit findings
Write up of recommendations
Presentation of audit findings to various stakeholders
Ensure compliance of internal controls and compliance standards
Utilisation of data analytics as part of the audit process
Audit focus on operations such as Claims / Underwriting / Customer Retention / Process Control and Group Function Audits.

Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified or part qualified CA / ACCA / CPA / CIA or CISA OR;
Degree with 3+ years' experience in Internal or past External Audit within a complex environment.
Experience gained in IT Audit or Data Analytics advantageoues but not essential.
Big 4 Firm or Chartered experience beneficial, but not essential.
Experience working in a fast paced, changing and agile environment is highly advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
