Workers Compensation Account Manager

I'm partnering with a well-regarded, privately owned corporate insurance brokerage that’s known for delivering tailored risk solutions to large businesses and ASX-listed companies. With a strong reputation across the industry and a deep specialisation in Workers Compensation, they’re looking to appoint a dedicated Account Manager to join their Sydney team.

You’ll join a highly engaged and collaborative broking environment, taking on a portfolio of mid to large corporate clients where you’ll manage the end-to-end Workers Compensation broking process. From conducting claims reviews and premium negotiations to advising on return-to-work strategies, this is a role for someone who enjoys adding real value to clients and navigating the complexity of workers comp across different jurisdictions.

What you'll be doing:
  • Managing a portfolio of Workers Compensation clients, providing day-to-day advice and support
  • Developing return-to-work strategies and conducting premium analysis
  • Coordinating insurer negotiations and placement
  • Liaising with internal claims and broking teams, underwriters, and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant workers compensation legislation nationally
  • Attending client meetings, renewal discussions and strategic planning sessions
What you'll bring:
  • Prior experience in Workers Compensation (insurance broking, underwriting, or claims)
  • Strong knowledge of multi-jurisdictional workers compensation legislation
  • Proven ability to manage and retain key client relationships
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive, consultative approach with a passion for delivering outstanding service
