Our client, a leading insurance organisation, is looking for an experienced and motivated Risk and Compliance Officer to join their Sydney team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in risk and compliance, particularly within financial services.

You will work closely with various business units to ensure the organisation's Risk and Compliance Frameworks are effectively implemented and maintained. Key responsibilities include managing and updating Risk and Compliance systems, maintaining registers, preparing reports for management and the board, and supporting training initiatives. You will also conduct data analysis to identify trends and support the organisation in adapting to regulatory changes, ensuring ongoing compliance.

Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in risk and compliance within financial services, with strong knowledge of APRA requirements (particularly CPS 230 and CPS 234). You should be proficient in controls testing, report writing, and data analysis, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in workers' compensation, insurance, and qualifications in Risk and Compliance will be highly regarded.
