Our client is currently seeking an accomplished and highly experienced Regional Head of Compliance - APAC to join their team and lead compliance efforts across the Asia-Pacific region.
As the Regional Head of Compliance - APAC for our client, the selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that their operations throughout the Asia-Pacific region comply with all applicable regulatory and compliance standards. They will work in close collaboration with senior leadership, business units, and compliance teams to establish, execute, and uphold comprehensive compliance strategies, policies, and procedures.
The Regional Head of Compliance will be instrumental in upholding the highest ethical and legal standards, safeguarding clients, maintaining the organisation's reputation, and contributing to their long-term success. Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field; post graduate qualifications and relevant professional certifications are highly desirable.
Demonstrated expertise in a senior compliance leadership role within the insurance or financial services industry, with an in-depth knowledge of relevant regional and international regulations.
Outstanding leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and mentor a team of compliance professionals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate compliance requirements to diverse stakeholders.
A solid understanding of ethical and legal compliance principles.
