Julie Cooper

Originally from Sydney, I joined the world of recruitment in 2005 after starting my career in projects.   A component of my role was recruiting the project engineers, and I quickly realised that I loved the people side of delivery and developed a passion for client engagement and aligning talent to the best opportunities in the market.

Over the last 15 years I have consistently been a top performing consultant across financial services, telecommunications, retail, Utilities, and the public sector/NFP.

I have grown my personal brand and reputation in the industry to be known to provide a consultative partnershipbuilt on transparency, industry knowledge,engagement, and alignment.   I strive to provide an outstanding service to contractors and clientsby taking the time to understand requirements, drivers, challenges, and aspirations.

 My delivery focus does not end at candidate search and selection.  I assist with development of annual salary surveys and industry insights, provide personalised career counselling, andvolunteer my time to present at industry meet ups.    My career accomplishments have been the result of developing and maintaining long standing relationships, my personal development in a knowledge rich industry and the opportunity to meet great people.

Outside of work I have two young children that keep me busy and entertained.  I have a love of the outdoors and live close to the ocean. I spend most of my spare time at the beach participating in everything from snorkeling to paddle boarding and recently learning how to fish.  I’m also a volunteer Nippers age manager at my local Surf Life Saving club.
