Janine Cloete

​Janine is a Principal Consultant within the Audit, IT Audit and Technology Risk space. She is South African born, with a background in Sales and Key Account Management spanning over 10 years, ultimately moving into Recruitment in early 2019 and hasn’t looked back since.

Her career as a specialist recruiter started in the South African market, focusing on placing qualified finance professionals (CA/CIMA/ACCA) within Strategic, Technical and Operational accounting & finance positions. Her strong people-focused ethos contributed to her becoming the first point of contact for multiple listed entities within the Financial Services, Industry and Government sectors.

Janine’s ambition led her to spread her wings and relocate to Australia in 2022, joining the Audit and Risk team focusing on key account management and new client development for listed, non-listed Financial Services, Industry and Government enterprises.

Working in recruitment has allowed Janine to combine her passion for people and aspirations to build a successful career within a corporate environment. Her strong focus on service delivery, attention to detail and consultative nature has enabled her to build long standing relationships with both her clients and candidates. Her ability to not only match the required skillset but also find the right culture fit for an organisation ensures that individuals placed, remain within the organisations placed.

In her spare time, Janine enjoys the outdoors either hiking, relaxing on the beach, meeting new people, or exploring her surroundings. She is also an avid animal lover with a passion for nature
