Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) Specialist - Market Risk Focus (12-Month Contract)
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented QRM Specialist to join a leading financial institution and play a vital role in their liquidity risk management. You'll be a key player in ensuring the organization's financial stability by leveraging your QRM expertise.
 
About the Role:
The organisation is seeking a skilled QRM Specialist to join their dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in optimizing risk measurement and management practices by bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

What You'll Do:
  • Become a QRM Expert: Configure, maintain, and own key QRM modules, including Asset Liability Management (ALM), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), and Market Risk.
  • Drive QRM Implementation: Lead the functional design and implementation of QRM solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Champion Collaboration: Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, understanding their needs and translating them into effective QRM configurations. Be the bridge between business and technology.
  • Problem-Solve and Innovate: Tackle complex issues related to risk calculations, data integration, and system performance. Be the problem-solver who keeps our risk management systems running smoothly.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up-to-date with the latest regulatory requirements and risk management trends.
 
What You'll Need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with QRM applications, ideally with a focus on ALM, FTP, and Market Risk modules.
  • Strong understanding of banking balance sheet concepts, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements (Basel III, APS 117, etc.).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to clearly explain complex risk concepts to various stakeholders.
