Job Description:
 
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Procurement Officer to join Government Department, supporting the delivery of procurement governance and risk management frameworks. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with non-compliance reporting, supporting both internal and external audit requests, and contributing to the maintenance of the annual procurement accreditation program.
Additionally, you will manage quarterly reporting to Treasury for the Procurement team and agencies within the Stronger Communities Portfolio, while also helping to organise the annual Stronger Communities Procurement Forum.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Support the implementation and delivery of the procurement governance and risk management framework.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining non-compliance reporting processes.
  • Provide essential support in responding to internal and external audit requests.
  • Collaborate in the working group to uphold the annual procurement accreditation program.
  • Oversee quarterly reporting to Treasury for the Procurement team and agencies within the Stronger Communities Portfolio.
  • Assist in the coordination and organisation of the annual Stronger Communities Procurement Forum.
