We have an exciting Internal Audit Manager - 10 months CONTRACT vacancy available within an ASX listed FS group. There is a high chance for the position to go permanent post the contract. The position will manage the end-to-end audit process across various pillars of a growing business. Experience gained in internal audit in the Retail Banking / Investment Management / Business Banking / Credit or other Financial Services sectors is needed.

This position can be based in Sydney or Melbourne and we will consider candidates with Australian PR / Citizenship / Spouse or other VISAS with full work rights till Nov 2025.
This position will require extensive stakeholder engagement, strict time management, critical thinking skills, the ability to extract and obtain data from various legacy systems, as well as a keen eye for spotting key risks within the business and its operations. Duties:
Preparation, planning of audits with some executing and testing of designated Audits alongside your team
Report on and review of audit findings
Write up of recommendations
Presentation of audit findings to various stakeholders
Ensure compliance of internal controls and compliance standards
Audit focus on corporate functions (Risk & Compliance / Legal/Acc & Finance / Treasury / Payroll etc.) and / or  financial operations (Credit Cards / Loans / Call Centre’s etc.)

Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified or part qualified CA / ACCA / CPA / CIA or CISA OR;
Degree with 3+ years' experience in Internal or past External Audit within a complex environment.
Big 4 Firm or Chartered experience beneficial, but not essential.
Experience working in a fast paced, changing and agile environment is highly advantageous.
Experience gained in the WM / Super / Retail Banking / Investment Banking / Credit or Insurance sectors highly beneficial.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
